USA

Re-live and understand the American civil rights struggle in a way you’ve never done before.

This is a signature tour of Defining Moments and some of the most important and fulfilling work we do. A journey through the south of 1960’s America will tell the stories of extraordinary people in extraordinary times. Visit Selma and Montgomery to learn how civil disobedience to instituionalised racism began a movement that is still being felt today. Previous tours have included talks with civil rights heroes such as Tuskegee Airmen, the late John Lewis, and Elizabeth Eckford from the “Little Rock Nine”
